Harrington, DE — Louie Paglierani’s On The Tee received a pocket trip and utilized the passing lane late to notch a 1:552 win in the featured $40,000 claiming pace on Thursday at Harrington Raceway.

Driven by Les Givens, the six-year-old Life Sign gelding outfought pacesetting Highest Authority (Jim Morand) to the wire to win by a nose. Trained by Wayne Givens, it was On The Tee’s third win of the year.

In the third race, Peter Tritton’s Kirwan’s Reward made his North American debut a successful one, setting all the fractions en route to a 1:56 win. Driver Steve Warrington took full advantage of his rail post draw to dictate the pace and win by three lengths over Falcor N and Power Pad.

Driver Ross Wolfenden had three wins on the program.

Racing continues Sunday with a 5:30 p.m. post time.
