Pair of co-featured paces on Sunday at Dover

Dover, DE — Mac Only Bill and Dream Wave lead respective three, four and five-year-old pace divisions on Sunday, March 28 at Dover Downs. Post time is 5:30 p.m.

A field of nine led by Mac Only Bill, owned by Harvey Simpson and Rich Oneschuk, scored a come from behind 1:543 win last week for Ross Wolfenden, his second in four starts, in the $16,500 section for four and five-year-old pacers.

Kathleen Beegle and Steve Cook’s Sign De Vie, driven by Brad Hanners, Ron Waller and Nanticoke Racing’s Really Ready, handled by Les Givens, and Dave Clayville’s Global Scale, with Vic Kirby, are the major opposition.

Dream Wave is favored in Sunday’s co-feature.

In a $16,000 division, Rodney Mitchell’s Dream Wave (Eddie Davis), fresh from a 1:534 victory last week, drew the rail. Brandon Givens and Lauren Saveikis’ Market Dreamer (Les Givens) and Kurahaupochancelor (Vic Kirby), owned by Erika, Trey Paradee and Warren Racing Stable, start from posts two and three, respectively.

Eleanor Davis’ Mackie Boy (Ross Wolfenden) was a strong second last Sunday, Dale Wootten’s Ace Of Arts (Brad Hanners) has won two of his last four outings, while Next Flight, the only three-year-old in the lineup, owned by Bauman, Faragalli Jr. and III and trainer Del Cote, must leave from the outside.

Four starters won last time out in a $14,900 Delaware Pace, Wayne Pryor and Doc & Me Inc.’s Gone West (Kevin Sizer), Tendulkar N, owned by Reuben and trainer-driver Mark A. King, Sam Jacobs’ The Ides Of March (Ross Wolfenden) and trainer John Veazey’s Secret Harbor (Travis Bowman).
