$1 Pick 4 — Races 7 through 10
5-6 with 2-4-5-7 with 1-4-6 with 1-7 = $48.00
Tonight’s Pick 4 is wide open, as you would expect with the high purses at Yonkers.
In the 7th race I used two horses, Jo Pa’s Artist and I’m Confident. Jo Pa’s Artist went off at 15-1 against this type last week but had a tough parked-out trip; he has won at this level and could be some value here. I’m Confident has been sharp for the Pena barn and missed by a nose from post 7 in last.
In the 8th, I’m sure that many bettors will rely on the two obvious horses here, Fox Valley Tyrese and Dvcflyingfrenchman, but I have always liked Royal Man, who has won $628,799 in his career and if he can get some pace up front he has a shot. I used 4 horses here.
In the 9th I’m using 3 horses. The one horse, Allamerican Daddy, gets a better post and probably needed last. The 6-Lislea Miles, is a potential wake up price play first time off the Burke claim.
In the 10th, I used Lombo Powershot A, a 10 year old pacer that has been finishing fast from post 7, and the obvious favorite, Macraider N who has won 4 of his last 5 starts.
My picks in order are ranked below.
7th Race: 5-6-2
8th Race: 4-7-2-5
9th Race: 6-1-4
10th Race: 1-7-3
