Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 7-10, Friday, April 1, 2016

I had the first three in the Pick-4 last Saturday but then the rest of the card was canceled after an electrical failure. I hit it for the fourth time last Friday night, so I have hit two in a row, which is rare. The Pick-4 paid $178.80 for 50 cents and the ticket cost me $48.00. Meet record on Pick-4’s, Standard Ticket: 18 plays, 4 wins for $420.25 total. Bottom line for meet +$262.80, Whale Ticket: 1 play – $80.00

Standard Ticket: $0.50 play: none
Whale Ticket: $0.50 cent play: 246/789/5/4589 = $18.00

Analysis:

Race 7: Pretty wide open trot to start things off. Its Huw You Know (6) has won three straight but I’m also using B Yoyo (2) and Outburst (4).

Race 8: This is a tough pace with several competitive mares and the power on the outside. I’m using Lightning Paige (9), who comes off a solid first over effort at Yonkers, and Weekend Getaway (7) and Fanticipation (10).

Race 9: Never Ever Clever (5) is my Best Bet as she drops in class and picks up a top driver.

Race 10: This is a tough trot so I used all four of my contenders here, four, five, eight and nine.
