Last Saturday night I played a $27 whale ticket and had three out of four, again.

Meet totals: standard ticket, 29 plays, -$358; whale ticket, 10 plays, -$422

Standard ticket: 50 cent play: 367/35/2379/16 = $24
Whale ticket: 50 cent play: none

Analysis:

Race 7: I’m going to use three here, the obvious favorite, (7) Odds On Equuleus, the likely pacesetter, (6) Speed Again, and (3) Mister Truth, a potential price horse.

Race 8: This race is a bit of a puzzle, especially trying to guess which horse will be the favorite. I’m using two, sharp shipper (3) Apollo Seelster and (5) Art History.

Race 9: This is a pretty tough race, unless (3) Mister Virgin asserts himself off the claim. I’ll use all four of my listed contenders.

Race 10: (1) Big Jer has some back class and faces a weaker field tonight. (6) You Bet Your Glass is capable of a big mile against these.
