Saturday night was one of the most wide-open cards the Meadowlands has raced in a long time, and my Pick 4 was not successful, minus $40.50. Meet record, 23 Pick 4’s, 4 winners, 19 losers, minus $276.65

Tonight’s ticket:

$0.50 cent play: 135/24/6/35 = $6.00

Analysis:

Race 7: CC Big Boy Sam has been tough when placed at this level. An The Thunderolls and Flem N Em N have both been racing in sharp form at Saratoga.

Race 8: Smooth Mocha and Spanish Art are both solid contenders here.

Race 9: I’m going to try a single, Dancing Rusty, who is first off the claim by Lounsbury, who is very good with his claims and this gelding is in good form.

Race 10: That’s My Opinion is a horse for the course and ships in for a sharp barn. Bright Future handled the track well in local debut.
