I only had two of four in the Pick-4 Saturday, a $480 loss. Winter Meet record, 12 Pick 4s, zero winners, minus $260.

Tonight’s tickets: 50-cent play: 5679/18/57/49 = $16

Analysis:

Race 8: This is a pretty tough sequence for a Friday night (Saturday is usually even tougher). I’m going to use all four of my listed contenders in this race, 5, 6, 7, 9.

Race 9: (8) Rock Of Cashel is a classy trotter and might be a good single here, but I’m also using the one entry.

Race 10: (5) Waltzacrossthewire and (7) Western Redhot both drop to a level where they’ve won.

Race 11: (4) Persuasive Hanover doesn’t have a top driver, and had a tough trip in last, but that was against better and he held gamely. (9) Tearful Of Happy drops and gets Gingras back.
