Saturday night I tried two tickets worth a total of $24 and I wasn’t close.

Meet totals: standard ticket, 15 plays, -$190; whale ticket, six plays, -$162.50

Standard ticket: 50 cent play: 1/1267/48/458 = $12
Whale ticket: 50 cent play: 126/1267/48/458 = $36

Analysis:

Race 7: I broke it up into two ticket tonight. (1) Just Fine should improve off the drop here but to be covered, I used three horses on the whale ticket.

Race 8: This is a very tough race to handicap once you get past the obvious horse, which is (2) Penn Turbo Ted. I used all four of my contenders.

Race 9: I think that (4) Grey Ice and (8) Lauderdale are the two best here.

Race 10: I used three horses in this race, but this is a very difficult race and anything can happen.
