Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 7-10, Friday, Feb. 21, 2014
Last night my $64 ticket did not hit. I have one hit so far this year for $1,144.50 on the whale ticket and no winners on the standard tickets. Meet totals: 19 plays, 0 hits, -$732. Whale ticket: nine plays, one hit, -$1,903.50.
Standard ticket: $1 play: 17/19/468/4579 = $48
Whale ticket: $1 play: 17/1469/468/1245679 = $168
Analysis:
Race 7: (1) Banker Volo is my Best Bet but I’m also going to use (7) Firstclassprincess.
Race 8: (1) Leaveumlady looks like a well spotted Yonkers shipper. (9) The Summer Wind raced against a bias in last.
Race 9: Pretty tough race here. I picked a trotter that is 12-1 on the morning line, (6) Luv Ya Tyler, who is eligible to improve with a switch to leading driver Gingras but I also used (4) Brookroad Knight and (8) Tiger’s Too Good, the probable favorites.
Race 10: The final race of the Pick-4 is the toughest so I used all four of my listed contenders. On the whale ticket I used seven in this race.
