I had a good night overall last Saturday night, but three out of four in the Pick-4, minus $24. Meet record: 14 Pick-4s, zero won, 14 lost, minus $241.

Tonight’s tickets:

50-cent play: 235/124/34/347 = $27

Analysis:

Race 6: (5) Winnerup comes off a solid qualifier for a good trot trainer. (3) Final Claim and (2) Fanatic both come off good qualifiers for the Burke barn.

Race 7: (2) The Big Muscle raced well from post nine last week and now moves inside and gets Dunn. (4) Marion Gondolier was used pretty hard against tougher in last and gets Gingras this week. (1) Explosive Ridge is second off a short layoff and raced pretty well in last.

Race 8: (4) Winning Lyric was first over against a good field in last and should be tough off the drop. (3) Hammer Time is consistent and also drops.

Race 9: (7) Exotic Dance is my top pick in this competitive race but I’m also using (4) Carousel and (3) Sudden Passing.
