Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 9-12, Friday, Feb. 5, 2016

Last Saturday my $12 ticket had three of the four winners as my top pick but Real Nice was my fourth ranked pick in the ninth race and I used three horses in that race. I had three Best Bets Saturday night and they all won.

Meet record, Standard Ticket: eight plays, -$126; Whale Ticket: one play -$80

Standard Ticket: 50 cent play: 56/67/2367/389 = $24

Analysis:

Race 9: Good trot race to start off the sequence. (6) March Awareness and (5) Crosbys Clam Bake are both facing weaker.

Race 10: (7) Happily Ever After drops and should go well. (6) Purity raced gamely again in last.

Race 11: This is a weak field and could blow up the Pick-4. (3) Andovers Touch gets a big driver change. (2) My Heidi will have to do best. (7) Downundermatter ships back in and gets hot driver. (6) Wishin Iwas Fishin will need a trip.

Race 12: I’m going to leave the morning line favorite out and try three in this wide open race, (3) Miss Defiance, (8) Bring Them Home, and (9) Sweet Time.
