Last night I played a $24 ticket and wasn’t close as $80 and $50 winners came in and the Pick-4 paid more than $12,000. Meet totals: eight plays, -$266

Analysis:

Race 7: I’m going to use three horses here. (2) Silent Swing is my top pick. The classy veteran was used way too hard last week. (1) Cam B Zipper is in good form. (7) Keep Going is rounding into form and has some class.

Race 8: There are two horses getting key driver changes here and I’m using those two. My top pick and Best Bet is (7) Avogadro Hanover who changes hands off a claim. (5) Spinarama is second off a layoff with a driver change to the leading driver.

Race 9: This is a tough B-2 pace. I’m going to use all four of my contenders, 1, 4, 5 and 9.

Race 10: This race is another tough one but to keep the cost of the ticket down I’m going to try to get through using two. (4) Magic Tricks just beat similar last week and (8) Muscle Beachboy finished right behind him. They both have speed and should be well placed.
