Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 7-10, Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015

Saturday night my single Urgent Action won but I missed the other three races. I played a total of $8 on the two tickets.

Meet totals: Standard ticket, four plays -$54, Whale ticket, two plays, -$29

Standard ticket: 50 cent play: 8/367/48/1378 = $12
Whale ticket: 50 cent play: none

Analysis:

Race 7: (8) JL Cruze was an easy winner over the track in last two starts and looks tough here.

Race 8: Pretty tough race here. I’m going to use three, (3) Black Magic Eyes, who finished stoutly in last, (6) Lexus Artist, signs of life in last, and (7) Ken Doll J, who comes off a fine effort.

Race 9: (8) Celebrity Cowboy is my Best Bet tonight and a longshot on the morning line at 20-1. I’m also using the morning line favorite.

Race 10: This is the toughest race of the sequence. I’m using all four of my contenders, 1-3-7-8.
