Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 8-11, Friday, July 20, 2018

I has another big night last Saturday, with eight winners on top, and two of my three Best Bets won paying $7.40 and $6.00. Last Friday night I also had a very good night with six winners including a $14.20 winner and a $24.20 winner. But I missed the Pick-4 both nights, three out of four on Saturday. Meet totals, 6 for 51, plus $142.45. Note, if one of my Pick-4 picks is scratched prior to the start of the Pick-4 betting, the next ranked horse in my regular Meadowlands selections that are on the USTA website becomes the replacement pick.

50-cent play: 12/1245/136/125 = $36

Analysis:

Race 8: There are a lot of 2-year-old races tonight. In this race, (1) Green Manalishi S and (2) Sovereign Deo both won their debuts and have potential.

Race 9: This field has a lot of potential talent. I’m going to use all four of my listed contenders, 1, 2, 4, 5.

Race 10: (1) Kings County qualified sharp but then broke in debut, can improve. (3) Gerry won his debut gamely. (6) Don’t Let’em is my top pick, has won both starts for Takter barn.

Race 11: This race seems to come down to which daughter of Captaintreacherous gets the best trip. I’m using three of them, (1) Treacherous Reign, (2) Key West, and (5) Izzy Hanover.
