Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 7-10, Friday, July 21, 2017

I had three of four on my $18 ticket last Saturday. My meet results so far, 6 for 69, winners paid $394.55 for 50-cents, $41.65 for 50-cents, $85 for $1, $103.60 for 50-cents, $60.10 for 50-cents, $8.15 for 50-cents, minus $276.40. Whale tickets, 0 for 3, minus $100.

Standard Ticket: 50-cent ticket: 4/136/146/12 = $9
Whale Ticket: 50-cent play: none

Analysis:

Race 7: This is a wide open trot race, but I’m going to single (4) Can Do to keep the cost down. He’s a solid veteran dropping back down in class. I don’t want to spend too much on this Pick-4 because there are two very wide open 2-year-old races.

Race 8: This race for 2-year-old trotters is wide open. I’ll try three, (1) Dawson Springs, (3) Story Time Hanover, and (6) Hill Street.

Race 9: (4) Odds On Lauderdale raced gamely in debut and is my top pick. Again, this is a 2-year-old race that’s wide open. I’ll also use (1) Macadoodledoo (6) and I’m A Big Deal.

Race 10: (1) Muscle High and (2) Achille Duharas are the two most obvious here. But it’s not an easy race.
