Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 8-11, Saturday, July 28, 2018

No luck last night, my single won but I missed the 10th. Meet totals, 7 for 54, plus $127.25. Note, if one of my Pick-4 picks is scratched prior to the start of the Pick-4 betting, the next ranked horse in my regular Meadowlands selections that are on the USTA website becomes the replacement pick.

Tonight’s tickets: 50-cent play: 6/1379,10/59/138 = $15

Analysis:

Race 8: The Pick-4 is wide open tonight. I think (6) Crystal Fashion is a pretty good favorite but if I was more confident in the other races, I’d use the 4 and 5 here as well. But I’m going to keep the ticket reasonable and single the 6 here.

Race 9: This is a wide open trot race. I’m using all four of my listed contenders plus throwing in the 3, so it’s 1, 3, 7, 9, 10.

Race 10: I’m going to try two here. (9) Shneonucrzydiamnd A ships in and drops. (5) Motown N is my top pick and Best Bet tonight, also shipping in and dropping in class.

Race 11: (1) Live On drops but I’m not confident in this potential favorite. I’ll include (8) Stakeout, which is my top pick, ships back in and raced well here recently. And I’ll use (3) Good Living, another shipper.
