Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 7-10, Saturday, July 5, 2014

Last night I went with a $2 ticket since the sequence looked tough. I only had one winner in the last leg. I’ve hit the Pick-4 three times this meet. Championship meet totals: Standard ticket, 13 plays, -$14.40. Whale ticket, seven plays, +$238.75.

Standard ticket: 50 cent play: 179/210/15/814 = $12
Whale ticket: 50 cent play: 179/23610/15/814 = $24

Analysis:

Race 7: Big M Pace eliminations and this is a very good field. I’m using my top pick (9) He’s Watching, (7) Tellitlikeitis, and (1) Let’s Drink On It, the three obvious horses.

Race 8: Two-year-olds and a tough race. I’ll have to use all four of my contenders on the whale ticket and top two on my standard ticket.

Race 9: Wide open C-2 pace. I’ll use two horses that come off strong wins, (1) Big Jer and (5) On The Radar.

Race 10: Hambletonia Maturity. There are five or six you’d have to use to feel confident. I’ll stick with my top two choices, (14) Creatine and (8) Spider Blue Chip. They should both be ready for improved efforts.
