Saturday night I spent $16 with no luck. I had six top winners on the card, but the late Pick-4, as usual, was a tough sequence. I’ve hit the Pick-4 three times this meet and I now have a profit. Championship meet totals: standard ticket: 11 plays, +$49.60. Whale ticket: six plays, +$286.75.

For the winter meet, I had one hit for $1,144.50 on the whale ticket and no winners on the standard tickets. Winter meet totals: 44 plays, 0 hits, -$1,236. Whale ticket: 17 plays, one hit, -$2,938.50

Standard ticket: 50 cent play: 6/36/1478910/310 = $12
Whale ticket: 50 cent play: 26/36/1478910/310 = $24

Analysis:

Race 7: I’m going to try a single here with my Best Bet, (6) The Summer Wind, who is sitting on a big effort third off a layoff.

Race 8: (3) Time To Quit and (6) Team Six are the two obvious favorites here.

Race 9: This race is impossible so I used six horses, 1, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10.

Race 10: (3) Apprentice Hanover and (10) Captaintreacherous are the two obvious horses.
