Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 7-10, Saturday, June 14, 2014.

Last night I had a $12.00 standard ticket and a $24.00 whale ticket. My single and Best Bet, The Summer Wind, won easily, but I missed the 8th race, hitting three of four. I’ve hit the Pick 4 three times this meet and I now have a profit. Championship Meet totals: Standard Ticket: 12 plays +$37.60, Whale ticket: 7 plays +$262.75.

Standard ticket: $0.50 cent play: 24510/456/135/18 = $36.00
Whale ticket: $0.50 cent play: none tonight

Analysis:

Race 7: I think some will single (5) David’s Dream here but I think the race is pretty wide open, so I’ll use all four of my top contenders. I picked (10) Cobalt Man to win. He has post 10 but deceptively good form.

Race 8: (6) Quik Magic and (5) Martini Hanover both drop while in good form, and I’m Banksy comes off several solid efforts. I think I can get through this leg with these three.

Race 9: Pretty wide open race. My top pick, (3) Open Water, is 15-1 on the morning line, but I’m also using (1) My Last Chance and (5) Mariner Seelster.

Race 10: (1) Willie Boots finished strongly in :25.4 last week and (8) Buckeye In Charge got stuck behind a slow pace.
