Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 7-10, Friday, June 20, 2014

Saturday night I spent $36. I had the first three winners, including an $18.40 winner in the first leg, but I missed the $23 winner in the last leg. I’ve hit the Pick-4 three times this meet and I now have a profit. Championship meet totals: Standard ticket, 12 plays, +$13.60. Whale ticket: six plays, +$286.75.

Analysis:

Race 7: (1) Western Empress and (5) Angels Delight both face weaker and I’ll try to get through this leg with these two.

Race 8: I’m going to use three horses here. (4) Crosbys Clam Bake beat better trotters here in May. (5) Dewycolorintheline ships in sharp. (9) Ma Chere Hall is the class but has been breaking.

Race 9: (3) Vida Da Vie was second in last and is the obvious favorite here. (4) Chinese Cuisine flashed improved speed off a layoff.

Race 10: (4) Ragazzo Dolce finished well in last and (5) Arriba Amigo set the pace and held the show.
