Saturday night I went with a $48 whale ticket and only had one winner in the tough sequence. I’ve hit the Pick-4 three times this meet and I now have a profit. Championship meet totals: Standard ticket, 12 plays, +$1.60. Whale ticket: seven plays, +$238.75.

Standard ticket: 50 cent play: 567/2/69/69 = $6
Whale ticket: 50 cent play: none

Analysis:

Race 7: Good card tonight and a tough sequence here. I’m going to try three, (5) Icommandmyspirit, (6) Mattie Terror Girl, and (7) Monochromatic.

Race 8: (2) Lauderdale has the speed to wire these and I’m going to single him.

Race 9: 2-year-old pacers and some nice prospects. The two most obvious are my choices, (6) Touch Of Luck and (9) Western Pioneer.

Race 10: (9) Crosbys Clam Bake gets post nine but a key drop in class. (6) Upfrontstrikesgold seems to be coming back to form.
