Analysis:

Race 7: (9) ABELARD HANOVER has been on a roll this year and the last time he raced here he beat Fred And Ginger, who just won a $500,000 race. Single.

Race 8: (4) SHORTSTOCKED is 20-1 on the morning line but my Best Bet. I don’t think he’ll be much higher than second or third choice here. I’m also going to use (10) URGENT ACTION, a horse that broke strike in two of last four, but is the fastest of these.

Race 9: (3) SIR MELO’S Z TAM comes off a solid closing effort and (9) TENANT IN CHIEF, my top pick, is an aging veteran that likes this track.

Race 10: This is probably the toughest race of the sequence. I’m going to use all four of my contenders here, the (2), (3), (8), (9).
