Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 6-9, Friday, June 8, 2012

Hit a few so far this meet but I’m down $68.10. For the championship meet I’m going to try more realistic, and more creative, tickets to see how that works out but be forewarned that even with much more of a spread, it’s still hard to hit a Pick-4 at this track.

$1 play: 128/567/78/12910 = $72

Analysis:

Race 6: I’m sure a lot of people will try to get through this with the obvious horses, the 1 and 2, but I’m also including longshot Big Sky Angelina (8) who drops down and gets a driver change.

Race 7: This is another race where the two favorites, (6) Crown Lady and (7) Signal looked solid but I’m including longshot (5) Speed McQueen off an improved effort.

Race 8: Here I’m going to use the two obvious horses, (7) Hot Shot Blue Chip and (8) Dejarmbro. I’d feel a lot more comfortable using all four of my contenders here.

Race 9: This is the toughest race of the sequence. I can see seven of these trotters that have a shot. I’ve narrowed it down to my top four contenders, (1) Special Command, (2) High Pan Tolerance, (9) Texas Ridge and (10) The Chancellor.
