I had five winners last night but only two of four in the Pick-4, minus $16. Winter meet record, 24 Pick 4s, zero winners, minus $455.50.

Tonight’s tickets: 50-cent play: 8,10/156/36/569 = $18

Analysis:

Race 8: (8) Shadow Cat and (10) Play Jet Ray appear to be the two classiest.

Race 9: This eight horse field is pretty competitive. I’ll use three, 1, 5, 6.

Race 10: (3) Americanprimetime was used pretty hard in last. My top pick, (6) Starznheaven, has been facing better.

Race 11: This is a pretty tough race. I picked (6) Midnight Lightning, who’s a solid horse that’s taking a key drop. But I think (9) Twomacsoneshadow has a chance at a price off the drop, and (5) Farther Sarducci is rounding into form.
