The $106 winner of the ninth race knocked me out of the Pick-4 early last Saturday.

Meet record, standard ticket: 12 plays, one win for $127.15 on a $12, 50-cent ticket, total for meet -$100.75. Whale ticket: one play, – $80.

Standard ticket: 50-cent play: 15/23/47/12379 = $20
Whale ticket: 50-cent play: none

Analysis:

Race 9: (1) Sayitall BB comes off a race she needed and (5) Inittowinafortune comes off an improved effort, and both proven over this track.

Race 10: (2) World Cup is back in form and could be viewed as a single here, but I’ll also use (3) Hot Summer Knight, who missed by a nose the last time he was at this level.

Race 11: (7) Looney Dune drops after showing speed and this is a good spot for her. I’ll also use (4) Lean On Yourself, who broke on the final turn, recovered, and finished gamely in last.

Race 12: Wide open race. I’m going to use five here — 1, 2, 3, 7 and 9.
