Saturday night I played an $8 ticket which lost. I did not play a whale ticket. I have one hit so far this year for $1,144.50 on the whale ticket and no winners on the standard tickets. Meet totals: 24 plays, 0 hits, -$860. Whale ticket: 11 plays, one hit, -$2,551.50.
Standard ticket: $1 play: 511/12/24510/1 = $16
Whale ticket: $1 play: none tonight
Analysis:
Race 7: I’m going to use (5) Mattador D and (11) Cane Ridge here and leave out the favorite. Both of these are solid claimers that like this track and they both appear to be coming around just in time for this series.
Race 8: (1) Spender Hanover drops and will be a very short price as the most logical winner on the card but I’m also going to use (2) Vodka Is Terror just in case.
Race 9: This is a tough race so I’m going to use all four of my listed contenders.
Race 10: (1) PT’s Boomerang was blocked and had late trot once clear in last; now he takes a key drop and will be a short price.
