Pandy’s Picks: March 7 M
March 7, 2014,by Bob Pandolfo
Bob Pandolfo offers his picks for the $50,000 Pick-4 at Meadowlands Racetrack on March 7, part of the U.S. Trotting Association Strategic Wagering Program.
Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 7-10, Friday, March 7, 2014
Last night I played a $16 ticket which lost. I had all four winners listed in my regular picks and the Pick-4 paid $4,288. I think we’re seeing that the races will be a little less competitive as some of the other tracks open. That’s not necessarily a bad thing depending on the type of player you are. I did not play a whale ticket. I have one hit so far this year for $1,144.50 on the whale ticket and no winners on the standard tickets. Meet totals: 25 plays, 0 hits, -$876. Whale ticket: 11 plays, one hit, -$2,551.50.
Standard ticket: $1 play: 1367/8/47810/45 = $32
Whale ticket: $1 play: none tonight
Analysis:
Race 7: ]This is a wide open race. The horse I picked on top, (6) Gaelic And Garlic, is 20-1 on the morning line but I’m also using my other three listed picks.
Race 8: My Best Bet is the classy veteran (8) Don’t Blame Her. She finished fast in last.
Race 9: This is a tough race so I’m going to use all four of my listed contenders.
Race 10: This is a tough race but I’m going to try to get through with the two favorites, (4) Pardon and (5) Kamwood Laughter N.
