Last night I played a $32 ticket which lost. I had two of the four winners, including a $24 winner, but as often happens a longshot came in that was tough to come up with, a $46 horse. I did not play a whale ticket. I have one hit so far this year for $1,144.50 on the whale ticket and no winners on the standard tickets. Meet totals: 26 plays, 0 hits, -$908. Whale ticket: 11 plays, one hit, -$2,551.50.
Standard ticket: $1 play: 14/8/7/1347911 = $12
Whale ticket: $1 play: 14/1348/7/1347911 = $48
Analysis:
Race 7: (4) Southwestern Dream and (1) Cam B Zipper both drop into C-1 tonight and they are my two horses here.
Race 8: (8) Bettors Glass has been racing against some fast horses and takes a key drop here.
Race 9: (7) Lawgiver Hanover is my Best Bet. He comes off a game effort and picks up the leading driver.
Race 10: This is a very tough race to handicap so I’m using six horses.
