My $16 ticket hit for $66.35 last night, a profit of $50.35. Meet totals, six for 32, plus $470.45.

Analysis:

Race 7: (7) Xpert Bayama has improved for the Burke barn and I’m going to single this one, which is my Best Bet tonight.

Race 8: This seems like the toughest race of the sequence so I’m going to go five deep using 1, 2, 5, 6, 8.

Race 9: (1) Studio Girl may be ready for Alagna barn. (6) Sand Artist closed in :26 to miss by a neck in last. If I was willing to spend more on this sequence, I would include the three and seven.

Race 10: (6) Waikiki Beach A has been a disappointment on these shores but the Down Under pacer drops. My top pick is (8) Bruce’s Magic, who scored as my Best Bet here last month and drops as he returns from Harrah’s. I’m also using (7) Big Stretch Mark off his solid placing in last.
