Meadowlands Pick 4, Races 6-9, Friday, May 13, 2011

Down $24 on my Big M Pick 4 plays last night. My single, Shyaway, finished third and that was that, but I did have the winners in the other three legs. The Pick 4 paid $183.20.

$1 play: 15/34/15/269 = $24.00

Analysis:

Race 6: Odds On Moinet and Carolines Cullen N are probably going to be the two favorites here but they both to appear to be in the best form.

Race 7: Thekeptman finished well from post 10 on Sunday. This is potentially a crapshoot because there isn’t any clear cut solid recent form. I’m also using MM’s Lucky Boy who is dropping and making a third start off a layoff.

Race 8: The big single in the Pick 4 is going to be Showherthemoney. She could blow these away but she has been struggling to regain her 3-year-old form. I’m going to take a stand against her and use Odds On Reisling and Aloha Christian N.

Race 9: Sunland Dakota has been facing tougher at Pocono Downs but has also been the beaten favorite in his last three starts. I still have to use him here. Arcadia Bluffs has Lou Pena listed as trainer for the first time. Romeo Star was beaten by classy veteran trotter Vivid Photo in last.
