Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 7-10, Friday, May 18, 2018

The Late Pick-4 paid $209.60 last Saturday. I was close, three out of four. Meet totals, 6 for 33, plus $455.45.

Standard Ticket: 50-cent play: 10/57/37/5 = $2
Whale Ticket: 50-cent play: 7,10/157/378/157 = $27

Analysis:

Race 7: I’m trying two tickets tonight, one for $2, and one for $27. (10) Double L Lindy drops again and may be a good single here. But I’m also using (7) Montalbano Bi on my Whale Ticket.

Race 8: This may be a two horse race between the 5 and 7, but I played it a little too close to the vest last Saturday and missed a relatively easy $209 Pick-4, so on my Whale Ticket I’m throwing in the one horse as well.

Race 9: (3) Super S Yzerman may be a decent single, but I’m using two on my standard ticket, the 3 and 7, and using three on my Whale Ticket, 3, 7, 8.

Race 10: (5) Let’s Fall In Love is another that may be a decent single, and I did single her on my Standard Ticket. But on my Whale Ticket I went three deep in this race — 1, 5, 7.
