Meadowlands Pick 4, Races 7-10, Friday, Nov. 16, 2018

I had the first three winners On Top in the late Pick-4 last Saturday night, but missed the 11th race where my top pick finished second, minus $10. Meet record, 1-7, minus $99.50.

Tonight’s tickets:

50-cent play: 678/589/29/49 = $18
50-cent play: 8/589/9/49 = $3

Analysis:

Race 8: (9) Pure Country may be a good single here, as she is clearly the class of the field. She will be retiring soon, and Takter decided to see how she does racing free-legged tonight. Because of that experiment, I decided to use to others on one of my tickets, (6) Windsun Glory, (7) Darlinonthebeach and (8) Blue Moon Stride.

Race 9: (5) Misslarose is in good form and is my top pick, but (8) Chromeo and (9) Zlatan both have the class to win here.

Race 10: (9) U Need Stones could be much the best here as he drops for a hot barn, but I included (2) War Story, who is on the improve.

Race 11: This appears to be a two-horse race between two quick mares, (4) Best Of Jenna and (9) Cuts Like A Knife.
