Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 8-11, Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014

I finished up the Championship meet with a profit of $162.75 on my “Whale Ticket” and a loss of $70.40 on my standard ticket. Last night I hit the Pick-4 for 50 cents and it paid $109.70 on my $18 Whale Ticket. It was a nice profit because my two tickets only totaled $22. Tonight’s late Pick-4 is much tougher than last night’s and it starts in race eight.

Whale ticket: 50 cent play: 56911/36/456/237 = $36

Analysis:

Race 8: Wide open race. I picked a longshot from the second tier, (11) Venus Delight, but I’m using all four of my listed contenders, 5, 6, 9 and 11.

Race 9: (3) Nuncio has never finished worse than second and his main rival is (6) Father Patrick so I’ll stick with these two. The race is probably more wide open than it seems.

Race 10: Another very tough race. (5) Limelight Beach was game against the bias last week but I’m also going to use (4) Always B Miki, who has had a huge year, and (6) JK Endofanera, who likes this track.

Race 11: This may be the most wide open race of the night. I used three horses, my top pick (3) Arch Madness, (2) Market Share and (7) Creatine.
