Preferred Equine to sell at Forest City

from Preferred Equine Marketing, Inc.

Preferred Equine Marketing, Inc. has announced that they will expand their consignment business into Canada this fall.

The leading independent consignor in North America over the last decade will be representing new and current clients at the Forest City Yearling Sale on October 15 – 17, 2005.

“We couldn’t be happier,” said Brian Webster of Forest City. “Preferred brings a lot of credibility; a good agent is such a plus for small consigners. They’re basically right at the top of the game, they have a long history of being very professional, a terrific array of contacts – they will bring buyers. It just gives everybody another option.”

“This is something we have been discussing for a number of years, and we are excited about finally coming to Canada,” said Geoffrey Stein.

“We feel what Brian Webster has done with this sale is just exceptional,” Dave Reid of Preferred said. “In a short period of time, Forest City has created a premier showcase in our industry.”

“We have many clients, both in the United States and Canada, and we see this as just one more occasion to service them,” Stein continued. “As everyone is aware, the standardbred racing community has become virtually borderless in recent years. Preferred in Canada just seems like a natural evolution. And, with the new format of a three-day sale, it just felt like the right opportunity.

“In the next few weeks, we will be working hard to ensure that anyone in Canada and the U.S. who has, or wishes to consign yearlings at the Forest City can do so with us,” Stein said.

The deadline for entries is March 15th. For more information, please contact Geoffrey Stein or David Reid at 914-773-7777 or visit www.preferredequine.com.
