Toronto, ON — Robin Morley’s Putmeintogo will aim for her fourth career tally when she begins from post nine in her Autumn Stakes division on Thursday (Nov. 21) at Woodbine.

The talented daughter of Mach Three finished third in the opening round last week, while being sent off as the heavy favorite.

Putmeintogo has banked $44,929 in her career.

“She’s been a very nice filly all year,” Morley said from his home in Mildmay. “I don’t think we’ve seen the best of her yet. She’s a big, strong, beautiful mare with a lot of potential.”

The pacing miss has been very consistent this season as she boasts a 3-4-2 record from 14 starts.

One of her key assets is her terrific gate-speed.

“She can really get off the wings,” said Morley, who trains a stable of two. “But I still think she’s a better horse coming from behind. She loves to pass horses and enjoys the bigger tracks.”

Morley called upon veteran horseman Roger Mayotte to do the driving of his youngster. Mayotte has guided the pacing miss in all but one of her career starts.

“Roger has done a terrific job with her,” Morley said. “He always brings me back a horse for next week, isn’t rough on them and I can count on him to drive her each week. The pair of them are a good fit.”

Morley has a long lasting relationship with the family of Putmeintogo. The 76-year-old trained the mother, Arizona Beach, along with each of her five offspring.

“The best was Armadilo, who made around $300,000,” he said. “Their mother (Arizona Beach) is a big mare and she has certainly passed that along to her offspring.”

Speaking of breeding, Morley plans to do just that with Putmeintogo.

“I’d love to get a better mark on her, because I want to breed her one day,” he said. “She’s such a beautiful mare with a long, powerful stride.”

Morley said he plans to race Putmeintogo in the Niagara Series if she proves worthy.

“She’s paid into it, but if she race in it or not will depend how she does in here,” he said. “There are some good fillies in here, including Machnbyrd Princess, so we’ll see how she fares out.”

Morley also hopes to venture to Florida this winter, but isn’t sure of the departure date.

“That will depend a little bit on her (Putmeintogo),” he said. “It may be around January or it may be sooner. My wife and I have a place down there, but we don’t get down there as much as we’d like.”

On Thursday evening, Putmeintogo will look to give her trainer more of a reason to stay put on Canadian soil with a victory in the second round of the Autumn Series.
