Anderson, IND. (Nov. 11, 2005) – The Indiana Horse Racing Commission announced racing dates for the state of Indiana Thursday, Nov. 10. Hoosier Park will race a total of 121 days in 2006.

The Standardbred meet will begin Saturday, April 1 and run through Saturday, June 24. Racing will be held Wednesday through Sunday with a first post of 6:45 p.m. There will be no live racing or simulcasting Sunday, April 16 in observance of Easter.

The 2006 Thoroughbred meet will begin Saturday, Sept. 2 with a special Labor Day racing card Monday, Sept. 4. Racing will be held Wednesday through Sunday with a first post of 6:10 p.m. A special Thanksgiving Day racing program will be held Thursday, Nov. 23 beginning at 11 a.m. Live Thoroughbred racing will conclude Saturday, Nov. 25.
