Cappello wins six on Tuesday at Saratoga

Saratoga Springs, NY — Dan Cappello, Jr. is no stranger to the Saratoga winner’s circle and on Tuesday night the eight-time driving champion visited there six times.

Princess Tiana was one of six winners on Tuesday for Dan Cappello, Jr.

Cappello got off to a big start on the hot summer night as he piloted winners in his first four drives of the night. The wins just kept coming and by the time Cappello earned a nearly ten length win with Princess Tiana in the Tuesday finale, he had completed a six pack of wins on the evening.

Cappello, who again is second in the driver standings in 2009 after finishing there last season behind the record breaking win total of Frank Coppola, Jr., has closed the gap on Coppola in the standings this year, but not by much; Coppola still owns a 50 win lead over Cappello, his closest competitor again this season.
