Racsan John, Up Front Hanover head Sunday feature

Dover, DE — Racsan John and Up Front Hanover, fresh from wins last week, meet in one of two $14,500 feature paces, while Global Scale and newcomer Sandy’s Playboy square off in the second division on Sunday, January 25 at Dover Downs. First post is 5:30 p.m.

Herve Filion has driven Racsan John twice and won twice impressively for owners Don Hawk, John Hynansky and trainer Dan Warrington in recent weeks.

Up Front Hanover, was one of five winners for Ross Wolfenden on last Sunday’s program.

JD’s Warrior drew the rail after a strong second place finish for George Dennis.

Other contenders include Ed Gannon’s Mr Chairman, with Eddie Davis, Jr., Maria Murray’s Kovacev, reined by Vic Kirby, and Ron Davis’ Blackjack Mac, handled by the hot Bret Brittingham.

Ron Millman’s Rags No More, Travis Bowman driving and Mike Horsey’s Fancy Creek Sport with Roger Plante complete the eight horse lineup.

In the other division, Sandy’s Playboy (George Dennis) makes his first local start since being acquired by Jeff Fuller. The Meadows invader won his last two starts.

Dave Clayville’s Global Scale (Vic Kirby) scored an off-the-pace win in his last start. Kal Liebowitz’s Truly Signful (Eddie Davis, Jr.) leaves from the rail with Mike Horsey’s The T Man (Jim Morand) alongside.

Phil Callahan’s Greenspring Zeke (Greg Callahan), Gemini Racing’s Yare (Brad Hanners), Sam Stone (Roger Plante), owned by former major league manager Tom Kelly and Jimdand Stables, and Ed Gannon and Sam Young’s Goin About It (Eddie Davis, Jr.) are the other starters.

In a $12,000 event, Peter Tritton’s Franco New Deal N (Steve Warrington), Baldachino, Outten and Green Racing’s The Cammissioner (Jim Morand) and Marion Andrew’s Tigerlee (Ross Wolfenden) are the horses to beat.

A field of nine start in a $30,000 claiming pace. Chase The Dreams (Travis Bowman), claimed last time by Bill Emmons after an impressive win, takes on Long, Mears and Glassmeyer’s Shuffle’s Western (Kevin Sizer) and Cantwell Bridge Stable’s San Justa Sam (Brad Hanners) among a nine horse field.
