Glowing Report won a New Jersey Sires Stakes division by a length and three-quarters over Ted’s Girl.
This year, the bay filly swept the three-week Blossom Series at the Meadowlands and then traveled to Michigan where she also won the elimination and final of the Roses Are Red at Hazel Park.
“She was a little bumpy tonight,” Pierce said. “But she had a ton of pace and was very sharp.”
Rainbow Blue is being pointed toward the $350,000 (est.) Mistletoe Shalee on August 7 at the Meadowlands.
In the other two New Jersey Sires Stakes divisions for three-year-old pacing fillies, Glowing Report ($4.20, $3.40, $3.00) scored by a length and three-quarters over Ted’s Girl in 1:511 and R Burning Desire ($6.20, $3.40, $2.40) won by four lengths over Apple Krisp in 1:51 flat.
