On Tuesday, Dec. 20, Northfield Park will again offer a $10,000 guaranteed pool in the Pick-4. The Pick-4 has a reduced takeout rate of just 14 percent (the lowest in harness racing) and starts in the eighth race.

Analysis:

Race 8: (7) Classy Rocket destroyed this class last week; look for a repeat.

Race 9: (1) CJ’s Victory runs hot and cold; could win from the pole if he is on his game. (8) Legacy Chip may be the best in here but has the eight hole to overcome.

Race 10: (1) Jeremy’s Chaser has the inside advantage and some tactical gate speed. (3) Right On Target was a game winner last start but faces tougher tonight. (5) Koko In Flight has won two of his last four races; could make it three of five tonight. (9) Sam’s Delight should get a good trip from the second tier.

Race 11: (1) My Sweet Lorelei. Her post position makes her a player in here. (5) Halter Top Hanover makes her third start for her new connections and could continue to improve.
