Northfield Park Pick-4, Races 8-11, Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012
On Wednesday, Feb. 1, Northfield Park will be offering a $15,000 guaranteed pool in the Pick-4. The Pick-4 has a reduced takeout rate of just 14 percent (the lowest in harness racing) and starts in the eighth race.

Analysis:
Race 8: (4) Thishorseisrockin got a bad trip but was not far off of the winner last time; drops in class and could be the one. (9) Slade Gram closed well in his last start and could trip-out from the second tier.
Race 9: (1) R Cowboy is a classy veteran who could work out a winning trip from the pole; this race is wide open. (2) San Zambello is one of several who can win; has good gate speed and could work out a nice trip. (3) Lossofmemory drops in class and has a chance.
Race 10: (2) Artistic Dreamer is one of the class droppers with a chance to get the victory. (6) Bookie Farout drops in class and could pick up the win.
Race 11: (2) Muscle Sprouts makes his second start off of a layoff and should improve over last race’s performance. (5) Triple G has been on the ticket at least six straight races; looks to keep the streak alive. (9) Sunny Victory should get a good trip from the second tier.
