$1 play: 9/679/145/2/169 = $27

Analysis:

Race 3: (9) Will He looks to have drawn into a made-to-order bunch and should draw on his back-class for an easy win.

Race 4: (6) Spidermonkey has been on the ticket two consecutive weeks despite being parked in his last race; gets it all here. (7) Slade Gram looks to be able to overcome the outside post and be on the ticket. (9) Soul Redeemer should get a good trip from the second tier.

Race 5: (1) Rain may be slowly improving and draws the rail to boot. (4) High Gear Speed has been knocking at the door with some regularity; looks to keep knocking. (5) Tag The Lady came up short last race in his gate-to-wire effort; does not come up short tonight.

Race 6: (2) Iknowwhatboyslike typically faces better and may be getting back to old form.

Race 7: (1) Tooter Lane looks to feeling good; should be able to be on the ticket. (6) Ciano Man came up a bit short last race; gets the job done tonight. (9) Sparks Of Gold received a brutal trip last race; should do better with a better trip.

Northfield Park Pick-4, Races 8-11, Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012

On Tuesday, Feb. 21, Northfield Park is again offering a $15,000 guaranteed Pick-4 pool. Northfield Park’s Pick-4 starts in race eight and offers a 14 percent takeout rate (the lowest in harness racing).

Analysis:

Race 8: (2) Polo Clyde has as good of a shot as any to complete the ticket. (5) Cole’s Image has been knocking at the door with some regularity; looks to keep knocking tonight. (6) Paradise Way looks to make her Northfield debut a winning one.

Race 9: (5) Columbia Art comes off of three wins in a row; makes it four straight tonight.

Race 10: (2) Lariat was interfered with last time; should be able to do better with smooth sailing. (5) Museum Piece has Noble returning to the bike; the last time these two teamed up they come home a winner. (9) Stand N Shout drops in class but the second tier may not be the best starting position for this one.

Race 11: (1) Pinnochio starts from the rail for his new connections and looks to be able to start them off with a win. (5) Prime Number was an easy winner last time against lesser; looks to compete well here, too. (6) Wyndridge Charles makes his second start off of a lay-off and should improve.
