On Tuesday (Feb. 26), Northfield Park will be offering a $10,000 guaranteed pool in the Pick-4. The Pick-4 has a reduced takeout rate of just 14 percent and starts in the eighth race.

Analysis:

Race 8: (1) Buzz Hershey draws the inside advantage and that advantage may be key to doing well tonight. (2) Soul Redeemer made a big improvement and was a winner in his most recent effort; could repeat a victory tonight.

Race 9: (2) One Day Wonder looks to land on the lead or in the pocket and could still be right there at the wire. (3) Abba Zabra drops in class and has a big shot to do well. (6) Cabo Blue has been struggling but has the ability to rebound at any time.

Race 10: (1) Tidy Whitie has strong gate speed and will really be helped by the rail. (5) Chief Red Cloud N raced well in this level last start and looks to do well again tonight. (7) Just Gavins Way did not like the turns in his Cleveland debut; makes a return start and has reason to improve.

Race 11: (2) Danny-O has been the runner-up in both of his most recent starts; could grab the top prize tonight. (3) Main Street Hall drops in class and could do well if he minds his manners. (6) Lucca’s Revenge should be fresh off of a layoff and could do well at first asking.
