On Wednesday (Jan. 16), Northfield Park will be offering a $10,000 guaranteed pool in the Pick-4. The Pick-4 has a reduced takeout rate of just 14 percent and starts in the eighth race.

Analysis:

Race 8: (5) Bring In The Noise should be fresh off a layoff and looks to be able to win right out of the box.

Race 9: (1) Buckeye Patty appears to have come into her own and looks to remain undefeated in 2013. (4) Tag The Lady has been ultra-sharp and looks to be able to do well again tonight.

Race 10: (1) Irish Raider has been drawing pathetically; could make the most of the rail tonight. (5) Dragon A Harley draws into a race where several could win; this one may be in the best form.

Race 11: (2) Zakman responded well to Smith in his most recent effort; Tyler returns for another drive and could score again. (4) Riley Bow hung in there despite being parked-out in his most recent race; should do well with a good trip.
