Northfield Park is announcing the addition of a $20,000 Pick-4 total pool guarantee to Monday’s (Jan. 28) program. Beginning in race eight, the $20,000 Pick-4 guaranteed total pool includes a carryover of $3,153.76.

Analysis:

Race 8: (1) Bettor Thantherest draws the inside advantage and that advantage may be key to doing well tonight. (3) Yarrows Cruiser faces a softer division than he has been facing and could make his presence felt tonight. (9) Lightninginthesky has historically faced much better and has a big shot to beat these.

Race 9: (1) Brother Nick won this class the last time he was in it; draws the rail and looks to win it again. (4) Grandpa’s Jojobeni draws better than he has been drawing and looks to finish better, too.

Race 10: (1) Mainline Hall draws the inside advantage and that advantage may be key to doing well tonight. (2) Topville Diamond. Hamilton barn has been dong well and this one could keep the hot-streak alive. (4) Debt Consoliraider was a winner in his most recent effort and looks to do well again tonight.

Race 11: (2) Left’em Standing has been on the ticket in five of his last six races; looks to be there again tonight. (4) Richie The Clown has two wins in a row; looks for a threepeat tonight.
