On Tuesday (Jan. 29), Northfield Park will be offering a $10,000 guaranteed pool in the Pick-4. The Pick-4 has a reduced takeout rate of just 14 percent and starts in the eighth race.

Analysis:

Race 8: (2) Tidbit draws better tonight and looks to be able to finish better, too. (7) Successful Venture faces a soft division and is one of several who could pull out the victory. (8) Azim Bluegrass could do well tonight despite the outside post draw.

Race 9: (1) Lil Dudes Mach Up draws the inside advantage and that advantage may be key to doing well tonight. (2) Wattafine Rusty looks to be a solid competitor at this level of competition and should be solid again tonight. (3) Expresso Forte has been on the ticket in two of his last three races and looks to be right there again tonight.

Race 10: (1) Sweet Billy has been the runner-up in this class two starts in a row; could grad the top prize tonight. (2) Master Wheels has been drawing poorly and getting bad trips; could be a different story from post two. (4) Main Street Hall could do well in here if he minds his manners. (6) Captain Korki drops significantly in class and could make his presence felt.

Race 11: (1) Diamonds Revenge draws the inside advantage and that advantage may be key to doing well tonight.
