Toronto, ON — After his powerful performance in the opening round of the Tie Silk Series last week, all eyes will be on Ricky MacPhee trainee Parlay this Thursday night (April 16) as he seeks to repeat that triumph at Woodbine.

The Kadabra-Speedy Shasta colt Parlay will be looking for his fourth straight win in the second leg of the Tie Silk Series.

Ten sophomore trotting colts will be going postward in the C$20,000 Tie Silk sequel (race eight, post time 9:43 p.m.), but it’s Parlay, a son of Kadabra who has just three lifetime starts under his belt, who is getting all the respect.

A modest $5,000 investment for MacPhee and partners Harris O’Brien and Robby Wiratmo Wibawa, Parlay was sidelined at three by a knee injury, but now has a clean bill of health and has been making up for lost time with a serious homing instinct for the winner’s circle.

With a perfect record and $22,420 accumulated so far, Parlay is listed as the 3-5 morning line favorite in this field. Jack Moiseyev will be piloting this possible star-in-the-making when the Tie Silk second leg gets underway on the night of April 16 at Woodbine.
