Northfield, OH — Richie The Clown crossed the finish line in 1:55.1, winning the ninth race on Saturday (December 15) at Northfield Park. The win is the 20th time that Richie The Clown has been triumphant in 2012.

Richie The Clown a 6-year-old son of Richess Hanover is owned by Rhonda Conn of Northfield, Ohio and trained by Northfield Park’s leading trainer, Harla “Renee” Loney. Leading local reinsman, Aaron Merriman was in the sulky.

Richie The Clown, has 31 career victories and has earned a bankroll of $125,307 with a lifetime mark of 1:52.3 as a 3-year-old at Indiana Downs.

With his 20th victory he has tied Idadazzle for the second winningest horse in North America behind CMR Maybe Loaded, who currently has 23 wins.
