Rogue Hall was a winner in the Mohawk Series on Friday evening.

From there it was all Rogue Hall. The Cambest colt came home widest of all and looked very impressive in doing so.

Trained by Rene Laarman for Robert H. Grand Holdings Inc. and Glenview Livestock Limited of Ontario, Rogue Hall is now a perfect three for three in his career. All of the wins have come this year, as Rogue Hall was unraced as a two-year-old.

Currently sitting with $21,040 in career earnings, Rogue Hall will look to add to that total next Friday evening at Mohawk during the C$87,000 (est.) final.

Christoforou and True Story take Jr FFA Trot

True Story ($14.10, $7.10, $4.70) and driver Chris Christoforou came through the stretch full of steam, as they scored in 1:564 during the C$48,000 Junior Free For All Trot.

Laying off the tempo through the :291, :582 and 1:27 fractions, Christoforou and the Nat Varty-trainee ended up defeating Son Of Grace ($13.80, $5.50) by two lengths and Earl Of Brant ($4.20) by two and three-quarter lengths.

Owned by Pennsylvania’s Louis and Michael Beltrami along with the 50-12 Stable and James Clement, True Story, a seven-year-old gelded son of Kentucky Spur–C Nanette, raised his seasonal record to 5-0-2 in 15 starts.

Flavor Of The Day gets it done in Fillies And Mares Open

After driver Mark MacDonald positioned Flavor Of The Day ($34.20, $9.40, $4.20) second-over in the stretch, the daughter of Artsplace fired off of her cover and won the C$48,000 Fillies And Mares Open Pace.

Trained by Wayne Preszcator for L And L Devisser of Holland, Michigan, Flavor Of The Day sat fourth through the early fractions, which were set in :271, :564 and 1:264.

Armbro Amoretto ($2.90, $2.40) and driver Luc Ouellette finished second, one length in arrears. Artaffection ($2.80) and driver Chris Christoforou finished third, also one length behind Flavor Of The Day.

In her debut off the claim, Flavor Of The Day, a four-year-old mare out of Allamerican Mocha, topped both a $114.70 exactor and a $278.40 triactor.
