Fort Washington, MD — Rosecroft Raceway announced Sunday (Sept. 11) it will introduce a Pick-5 with a low 12 percent takeout, as well as superfectas on every race when the fall meet begins Tuesday (Sept. 13). Rosecroft did not offer superfectas previously on every race.

“We’re excited about the opening of Rosecroft,” said Maryland Jockey Club President and General Manager Sal Sinatra. “We think the Pick-5 with the low takeout will attract bettors as will the superfectas on each race. We’re going to try some different things on the track as well as to the facility. As always, we will look forward to feedback from our customers as we grow racing in Maryland.”

In the Pick-5, if no bet contains all five winners, 25 percent shall be distributed among those bets which contain the most correct selections and 75 percent of the pool shall be carried over to the next program. The Pick-5 will begin Tuesday on the seventh race.

Along with the superfectas, there will be win, place, show and exacta wagering on every race and daily doubles on the first and 11th races.

Rosecroft will race Tuesdays and Thursdays through Dec. 15. First race post Tuesday is 6:40 p.m.
